Nicole M. Pinterich is the Northeast Regional Education Director of New Story. She received her Bachelor of Science in Childhood/Elementary Education
and her Master of Science in Special Education/Exceptionalities from Bloomsburg University.
Nicole started with New Story in 2005 as the Behavioral Specialist Consultant, and was promoted to Education Director soon after. She has 25 years of experience in her field.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, spending time with my family, and traveling.

Beverly Strunk, Regional Clinical Director
Beverly Strunk, Ph.D, BCBA, LBS is the Director of Operations for Northeast Region New Story. She has15 years of experience in her field. Beverly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Specialist, and has expertise in the areas of community-based mental health services, staff development, program growth and expansion. She started with New Story in 2004 as the Behavioral Specilaist Consultant and was then promoted to Clinical Director in 2009, and Director of Operations in 2012
Beverly received her Ph.D. in Human Development from Marywood University, Scranton, Pa, her Masters Degree in Counselor Education from Marywood University, Scranton, Pa, and her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors; biking, hiking, and skiing. She is also interested in reading, traveling and photography. Beverly also spends time supporting: S.A.F.E. (Supporting Autism and Families Everywhere), Wilkes-Barre, Pa, Autism Coalition of Luzerne County, Pa, Pastoral Council, St. Jude Parish, Mountaintop, Pa, Social Action Committee, and St. Jude Parish, Mountaintop, Pa

Shannon McLaughlin, Director of Education

Shannon McLaughlin is the Director of Education for New Story Wyoming. She has 19 years of experience in Special Education, Autistic Support and Emotional Support settings.
Shannon received her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Misericordia University. She began her career as a Special Education Teacher in 2003.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, dancing, theatre, and being a soccer mom. She also enjoys spending time with family and camping whenever she can.

Keriann Balucha is the Assistant Education Director at New Story, Wyoming. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wilkes University and her Master’s in Special Education from the University of Scranton.
Keriann has over 11 plus years of experience in her field. She began her career at New Story as the Assistant Education Director in 2015.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling, watching TV and learning a variety of new things.

Jessica Collins, Assistant Education Director

Jessica Collins is the Assistant Education Director at New Story, Wyoming. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bloomsburg University and her Masters of Arts in Special Education from University of Phoenix.
Jessica started with New Story in 2010 as an Emotional Support teacher and became the Special Education Coordinator in 2016 and was promoted to Assistant Education Director in 2017.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with her family traveling.

Michelle Cummings, Clinical Director

Michelle Cummings is the Clinical Director for New Story Wyoming. She has 15 years of experience, and started with New Story in 2012. Michelle received her B.A. in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University, her M.ED in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University, and she attended Florida Institute of Technology for the ABA program and her BCBA certification.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family, playing games, completing puzzles, and traveling.

Casey Laskaris, Clinical Supervisor

Casey Laskaris is the Clinical Supervisor for New Story Wyoming. She has over 10 years of experience in the field. Casey began her career with New Story in 2005 as a Therapeutic Support Staff Member. In 2009 she became a Behavior Specialist Consultant in the Behavior Health Program. Soon after Casey was promoted to the Behavioral Consultant position. In August of 2016 Casey became the Clinical Supervisor.
Casey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilkes University, she also holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
