New Story Wyoming participates in wnep’s 31st annual feed-a-friend
Wyoming, PA – November 3, 2015– New Story Wyoming School is very proud to be part of the 31st annual WNEP Feed-a-Friend Program. The program started on October 22nd and will continue until Thanksgiving Day, November 26th. Throughout the duration of these dates, students and their families and staff of New Story Wyoming will have the opportunity to bring in canned food items to donate to local families who are in need of a Thanksgiving meal. On November 26th, all donations will be distributed to their designated drop off locations for families in need to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner. WNEP, Pepsi and PDQ are proud sponsors of this year’s Annual Feed –A- Friend campaign. All of the donations collected at the New Story Wyoming School will stay in Luzerne County, and will be distributed to families within the County.
For more than 30 years, the Feed-A-Friend food and monetary donation drive has helped thousands of families in need throughout Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania, and Feed-A-Friend Campaign Chairman, and morning meteorologist, Joe Snedeker has thanked everyone for being a part of the Feed-A-Friend program this year.
